Yum Pup is a subscription-free specialty dog food service for pet parents who want to feed their dog a well-balanced diet, free of junk and fillers. To become part of our family, add to your shopping cart the number of bags you would like to purchase of each recipe and weight. Go to the shopping cart and select checkout. Follow the checkout process to complete your purchase and don’t forget to include if your pup requires special accommodations or if you would like to receive recurring orders. After your purchase is complete, your order will be delivered to the address provided within the timeframe selected.

Each Yum Pup recipe is made in a kettle and in small batches. All the ingredients are fresh and cooked separately according to its respective cooking temperatures. Once cooked, the ingredients are mixed in together and packaged in sealed bags. Each bag is frozen immediately to preserve the quality and freshness of the food. Yum Pup recipes do not include preservatives or fillers.

At the Yum Pup family, we treat our pup as, what he is, our favorite family member! That means giving him the best nutrition and care we can possibly imagine. Fresh food allows our pup to live a more energized and balanced life by improving his weight, digestion, breath, coat, immune system and overall health.

Every pup has unique needs and requires different nutrition. For general recommendations, you can follow this suggested amount per pound.

• • Toy Breeds (3-6 pounds): ⅓ cup to ½ cup per day
• • Small Breeds (10-20 pounds): ¾ cup to 1 ½ cups per day
• • Medium Breeds (30-50 pounds) 1 ¾ to 2 ⅔ cups per day
• • Large Breeds: (60-100 pounds) 3 to 4 ½ cups per day

Please note that if you feed your pup more than once per day, you should divide the suggested amount by the number of feeding times.

We recommend starting with our 1lb bags and, later on, upgrading to our 3lb bags. If your pup takes longer than 4 days to eat an entire 3lb bag, we suggest you stay at the 1lb bag level.

All of the ingredients we use in our recipes are fresh and safe for canine consumption (you can also give it a try!).

• Chicken Recipe – ground chicken, chicken liver, quinoa, butternut squash, broccoli, peas, carrots, fish oil
• Turkey Recipe – ground turkey, turkey liver, brown rice, sweet potato, spinach, peas, carrots, fish oil
• Lamb Recipe - ground lamb, lamb liver, lentils, butternut squash, broccoli, apple, fish oil

Our recipes are kettle-cooked in small batches, which allows us to modify each recipe upon request. If your pup is allergic to one or more ingredients you can add the information at checkout, and we will work with you to accommodate the request.

No, all recipes arrive fully cooked and ready to serve. You can serve the food straight from the fridge or heat it in the microwave for 10 to 30 seconds depending on the amount served.

Yes, all recipes need to be refrigerated as it is the case with other fresh foods. Once your order arrives, please store all the bags that you are not going to serve within the next 5 days in the freezer for up to 3 months and move to the fridge to thaw as needed. The bags that you are using to feed your pup, can be stored in the fridge for 5 days. We recommend you finish the bag within 5 days of opening.

During the transition period in your pup’s diet, you can mix kibble with fresh food. However, to enjoy the benefits of a fresh diet we recommend fully transitioning to fresh food instead of mixing both products.

We recommend slowly transitioning your pup from his current diet to Yum Pup. If your pup has already transitioned to fresh food and has been enjoying our recipes for a while, you can serve the recipes upon receiving your recurring Yum Pup delivery.

Yes, for domestic trips by airplane or car keep the bags frozen for at least 24 hours prior to departure. Upon arrival at your destination, place the food in a fridge or a very cold area to keep its freshness.

All Yum Pup recipes are made with fresh ingredients and do not include preservatives. Our recipes can last up to 3 months sealed in the freezer and up to 5 days open in the fridge.

If your pup does not eat the food within 2 hours upon serving, put it back in the fridge for later use. If more time goes by, please discard the food and serve a new bowl of food.

We recommend a slow transition from the current food you are giving your pup to our fresh recipes. At the beginning, you can grab a soup spoon and add a little bit to your pup’s current food. After that, you can progressively increase the amount you add by following this recommendation:

• Day 1 and 2: soup-sized spoon
• Day 3 and 4: 25% of our recipe
• Day 5 and 6: 50% of our recipe
• Day 7 and 8: 75% of our recipe
• Day 9 and 10: 100% of our recipe

The benefits of feeding fresh food and a wholesome diet to your pup include improved breath, better digestion and absorption of food nutrients, healthier coat, stronger immune system and a longer life.

Yum Pup recipes are formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by AAFCO Dog Food Nutrient Profile for all life stages

Our shipments are handled through courier services and generally delivered 48 hours after your order is placed from Monday through Friday before 3PM EST. Orders placed on Friday after 3PM EST through Sunday will be shipped the following Monday and will take 48 hours from the moment your order is shipped to arrive.

At this moment, we only ship within the state of Florida. Stay tuned as we expand to more states soon!

We offer same-day delivery in Miami, FL through Postmates and 48-hour delivery through courier services.

You can select your delivery date at checkout if the delivery address is in Miami, FL or if it is later than 48 hours. Next-day delivery is available for orders placed before 3PM EST and will incur an additional shipping fee.

Yum Pup recipes are shipped frozen and each box includes dry ice to manage the food temperature throughout the journey. If you are not home at the time of delivery, the food will stay fresh until you get home at night. If your order is delivered by one of our local drivers (only available in Miami, FL), we will follow the delivery instructions included in your order at checkout and take a picture of the exact placement of the box.

Contributing to a better world for our pups is one if our top priorities. That's why our shipping materials and packaging are recyclable. Once you are done unpacking your order, please recycle your box.

Our intuition tells us that your pup is going to love our food. However, if for some reason that is not the case, we will work with you to try other flavors or issue a refund within 30 days of your first purchase.

Since our food is fresh, unfortunately we can’t take it back! If you and your pup are not satisfied with your first purchase, we will refund the full amount. For recurring orders or repeating customers, we will issue a refund on orders of up to $50.

Although accounts are recommended to keep track of your orders and needed to sign up to receive recurring orders, customers can place their orders as guests.

Before adding your products to the cart, you have the option to sign up for weekly or monthly recurring orders. You'll receive a payment link and won't be charged unless you choose to.
