What is Yum Pal?
Yum Pal is a dog lifestyle brand built around the way we actually live with our dogs. We make fresh food, single-ingredient treats, and dog essentials, and bring them to dog parents through our website, Yum Pal Stations, partner locations, and dog-friendly events.
Where is Yum Pal based?
Yum Pal was born and raised in Miami, Florida, and we're proud to call South Florida home. You'll find our products, Stations, partnerships, and community events throughout the area, with more places to come.
Is Yum Pal the same as Yum Pup?
Yes! Yum Pup is now Yum Pal. Same company, same recipes, same obsession with dogs.
Fresh food
Is Yum Pal a complete meal or a topper?
Both. Yum Pal can be served as your dog's complete meal or added to their current food as a fresh, whole-food topper. How you serve it depends on your pup and their individual feeding needs.
How is Yum Pal fresh food made?
Our fresh food is gently cooked in small batches in a kitchen using human-grade ingredients. We use real meats and organs alongside fruits, vegetables, grains or legumes depending on the recipe, with no preservatives or synthetic supplements.
How do I transition my dog to Yum Pal?
Start small, a spoonful of Yum Pal mixed into your dog's current food is a great place to begin. Gradually increase the amount of Yum Pal while decreasing their current food over about 10 days, giving their digestive system time to adjust.
How should I store Yum Pal fresh food?
Yum Pal fresh food should stay cold. When your order arrives, place the meals in the refrigerator if you'll be serving them soon or in the freezer for later. Once thawed, keep refrigerated and use within 5 days. Frozen meals can be stored for up to 3 months.
Which Yum Pal recipe should my dog try first?
You have four to choose from: Big & Beefy, Totally Turkey, Chicken Smitten, and La La Lamb. Big & Beefy is our most popular recipe, closely followed by Totally Turkey. You can also rotate recipes to introduce different proteins and whole-food ingredients into your pup's diet.
YUM PAL CHIPS
What are Yum Pal Chips made with?
One ingredient. That's it. Each flavor is made entirely from the ingredient on the front of the bag whether that's beef, chicken, turkey, sweet potato, carrot, apple, or strawberry with no preservatives or hormones.
How many Yum Pal Chips can I give my dog?
Treats and snacks should make up no more than about 10% of your dog's total daily calories. The right amount will depend on your dog's size, diet, and individual calorie needs.
Can I use Yum Pal Chips for training?
Absolutely. Break the chips into smaller, bite-sized pieces and use them as high-value rewards during training. Smaller pieces also make it easier to reward frequently without overdoing the treats.
How should I store Yum Pal Chips?
Keep the bag tightly sealed in a cool, dry place away from heat and moisture. For the best quality and texture, enjoy them within 30 days of opening.
Essentials
How do I choose the right collar size for my dog?
Our collars come in Small (8–12"), Medium (11–15"), and Large (15–18"). Small may fit pups like Yorkies, Maltese, and Chihuahuas; Medium may fit Mini Goldendoodles, Schnauzers, and French Bulldogs; and Large may fit Standard Goldendoodles, Australian Shepherds, and smaller Golden Retrievers. Breed is only a guide, so always measure your pup's neck before ordering.
Are the Yum Pal collars and leashes waterproof?
Yes. Our collars and leashes are made with a waterproof, odor-resistant PVC-coated material that doesn't absorb moisture, dirt, or smells. Wipe them clean or rinse with mild soap and water after particularly questionable adventures.
Do the Yum Pal collar and leash match?
Yes! They're designed to be worn together and feature coordinating materials and gold-tone hardware. The collar also has our signature Yum Pal charm for a little extra personality.
What is the Yum Pal Slow Feeder for?
Our Slow Feeder is designed for pups who tend to make dinner disappear a little too quickly. Its food-inspired grooves encourage them to work their way around the bowl, adding enrichment and helping slow down mealtime.
Can I use the Slow Feeder with Yum Pal fresh food?
Absolutely. In fact, that's one of our favorite ways to use it. Spread Yum Pal fresh food throughout the grooves so your pup has to work their way around the design as they eat.
What comes with the Yum Pal Veggie Toy Set?
The set includes five squeaky vegetable toys plus an interactive box that's part of the play. Use the veggies for fetch and tug, or hide treats inside the box for an added enrichment activity.
Can I hide treats inside the Veggie Toy Box?
Yes! Hide small treats or pieces of Yum Pal Chips inside the box and let your pup search them out. Always supervise your dog during play
How big is the Yum Pal Mini Cooler?
The cooler measures approximately 6.25" H × 6" W × 5.75" D and has a 3.1-quart capacity. Its compact, lightweight design makes it easy to bring along without your dog's things taking over the entire car. You can fit 3 1lb bags.
How should I clean my Yum Pal Essentials?
Care depends on the product. Our waterproof collar and leash can be wiped or rinsed with mild soap and water, the Mini Cooler should be spot or wipe cleaned, and the Veggie Toy Set is best hand washed. Check each product's Product Details for its specific care instructions.
Ordering & Delivery
Where does Yum Pal deliver?
Our fresh food ships within Florida only because it's a perishable product that needs to remain cold. Shipping availability for our shelf-stable treats and Essentials may vary, so check the product page or checkout for your delivery options.
When will my Yum Pal order arrive?
Delivery timing depends on what you're ordering and where it's going. Your available shipping or delivery options will appear at checkout, and you'll receive tracking information once your order is on its way.
Can I return my order?
Because Yum Pal fresh food is perishable, all fresh food sales are final and non-returnable.
What if there's a problem with my order?
We want to know. If something arrives damaged, incorrect, or isn't what you expected, contact us at hello@shopyumpup.com with your order number and photos when applicable, and our team will help with next steps.

What is a Yum Pal Station?
Think of it as a vending machine built for dog parents. Yum Pal Stations make it convenient to pick up dog products while you're already out and about, with selections that may include fresh food, treats, toys, and Essentials depending on the location.
Where can I find a Yum Pal Station?
Visit our Locations page to find current Yum Pal Stations and see what's available near you. We're always looking for new places to bring Yum Pal, so check back as our Station network grows.
Do all Yum Pal Stations carry the same products?
Not necessarily. Product selection can vary by Station based on the location, so one may carry fresh food while another focuses on treats and Essentials.
Can I buy refrigerated fresh food from a Yum Pal Station?
At select locations, yes. Some Yum Pal Stations are refrigerated and stocked with our fresh meals. Check the individual Station listing before making the trip to see what that location carries.

Does Yum Pal host dog-friendly events?
Yes! We love creating reasons for dogs and their humans to get out together. You'll find Yum Pal at dog mom walks, brunches, pop-ups, community events, and other dog-friendly experiences throughout South Florida.

Policies
Fresh Food Shipping
Yum Pal fresh food currently ships within Florida only. Fresh food is perishable and should be refrigerated or frozen promptly upon arrival.
Order Changes & Cancellations
Need to make a change? Contact us within 24 hours after placing your order. Once an order has been prepared, fulfilled, or shipped, we cannot guarantee that changes or cancellations can be made.
Shipping & Delivery
Delivery dates and transit times are estimates and may be affected by carrier delays or other circumstances outside our control. Tracking information will be provided once your order ships.
Perishable Deliveries
You do not need to be home to receive your fresh food order, but we recommend bringing it inside and refrigerating or freezing it as soon as possible after delivery.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, please contact us promptly with your order number and photos of the product and packaging so we can review the issue and make it right.
Lost Packages
If your tracking shows an issue or your package appears to be lost in transit, contact us so we can review the shipment and determine the appropriate next steps with the carrier.
Incorrect Shipping Address / Failed Delivery
Please double-check your shipping address before placing your order. If you notice an error, contact us as soon as possible and we'll do our best to update it before your order ships. Once an order is in transit, we cannot guarantee address changes, and orders that cannot be delivered due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided at checkout will not be replaced.

All Yum Pal Station purchases are final sale. If you experience a vending issue or do not receive the product you purchased, contact us at hello@shopyumpup.com with the Station location, date, and details of the transaction so we can assist.

Product selection and availability may vary by Yum Pal Station and partner location. Not every location carries the full Yum Pal collection.
